Jenny Holzer is an American conceptual artist. The main focus of her work is the use of words and ideas in public space. She produces street posters, LED signs, plaques, benches, stickers and t-shirts.
Inflammatory Essays (1978-79)
Jenny uses provocative statements in most pieces of her work, combining rapturous writing with repetition and colour. Her style is very influential on my work, as I used a similar style in my final major project, where I combined controversial quotes with my own crude photography.
